Tips before going

As one of the main Osaka attractions, Universal Studios Japan sees thousands of tourists every day. And it can get super crowded towards the weekend, starting from Friday. If you can, avoid going to USJ on Japan holidays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Come to USJ an hour early before its opening so you can line-up and enter while there are fewer people.

It will also help to prioritize popular rides in the morning while there aren’t long lines yet. Because trust us, you may end up wasting too much time waiting in line than actually enjoying the rides.

You may also want to purchase the Express Pass because normal waiting time especially for famous attractions like Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, JAWS, The Flying Dinosaur and Jurassic Park – the Ride can take up to 3 hours. Another alternative would be to ride attractions with Single Rider Lines.
