How To Travel From Singapore To LEGOLAND Malaysia

If you’re travelling on a budget, this is one of the many ways you and your family can reach LEGOLAND Malaysia. One good thing about it is that you don’t have to book in advance. Causeway Express bus operates at 7 different stations around Singapore. However, if you’re in a hurry, remember that taking a public bus means long hours on the road compared to a private car.

Price Range: Around SGD6  / 1 way

Travel Directions:  

From Jurong East Bus Exchange:

  • Ride a CW3 or CW4 public bus going through Tuas Checkpoint.
  • Get off at the CIQ interlink
  • Operating hours: 7:10 to 23:45 on weekdays /  7:30 to 23:45 on weekends

 

From Boon Lay:

  • Ride a CW6 public bus going through Tuas Checkpoint.
  • Get off at the CIQ interlink
  • Operating hours: 7:10 to 23:45 on weekdays /  7:30 to 23:45 on weekends

 

When you reach CIQ interlink:

  • Ride another public bus – JP02 for weekdays, and SI1 for weekends and public holidays.
  • Get off at the first stop which is LEGOLAND
  • Bus schedule: 8:30, 11:30, 14:30, and 17:30 on weekdays /

9:00, 10:30, 12:00, 13:30, 15:00, 16:30pm, 18:00, 19:30.

 

Coach / Private Tour Bus

Travelling via coach or private tour bus is faster than taking a public bus. This mode of transportation is perfect for families who want to travel from Singapore to Malaysia in less than 3 hours. The coach bus will drop you off directly to LEGOLAND. You can also enjoy spacious seats and television entertainment during your travel time. The only thing you have to do is to book a ticket in advance.

Price Range: Around SGD20 – SGD80 / roundtrip

Cross-Border Taxis

You can also take a taxi from Singapore to LEGOLAND but not just any normal taxis. You need to take a cross-border taxi, which is permitted to cross the border. Although cross-border taxis are more expensive, they are far more convenient and comfortable than taking a public bus. No need to clear customs and carry your heavy bags.

Price Range: SGD40 – SGD50 per vehicle – from Singapore going to Johor Bahru

RM 60 per vehicle – when you return to Singapore

Train + Local Taxi or Local Bus

Another cheap way to travel from Singapore to LEGOLAND is via a 5-minute train ride. Taking a train won’t directly lead you to LEGOLAND. You need to take either a taxi or a bus from there. This is perfect when you and you’re family are on a budget travel. You must remember that train tickets are sold with limited seats and be on time because you will wait longer hours if you miss the train.

Price Range: SGD5 per one way trip / RM5 per return trip

Local taxi to LEGOLAND Malaysia: RM 18

Local bus to LEGOLAND Malaysia: RM4.60

Travel Directions:

  • Go to the bus stop opposite to the Marsiling MRT Station.
  • Ride bus 856.
  • Get off the Woodlands Centre Road bus stop.
  • Walk to Woodlands Train Checkpoint and buy tickets at their counter. Clear your immigration here as well.
  • Board the train going to Johor Bahru Sentral.
  • Get off the train and clear customs when you reach JB Sentral.
  • From there, take bus LM1 to LEGOLAND Malaysia. Or, take any of the local taxies to LEGOLAND Malaysia.

 

Private Cars
