Take a break from the city traffic and make your way down to the Jeju Jungang Underground Shopping Centre, one of the most popular Jeju shopping place on the island. This modern shopping arcade is Jeju’s only underground shopping centre and has over 300 outlets offering a vast array of local goodies like jewellery, shoes, bags, hats, accessories, watches and many more. Across Jeju Jungang Underground Shopping Centre are restaurants, fast food chains and lounges for when it’s time for a quick break from Jeju shopping extravaganza and chow down some of the island’s must-try local food.

What’s a Jeju travel experience without sampling fresh seafood, right? Well, in Jeju Five-Day Markets, you can do just that – gobble down some freshly-caught seafood and other locally-grown produce. Sold at affordable prices, you can also shop for clothes, decorative pieces like sculptures, shells and many more. Restaurants are also waiting to serve you some delicious Jeju food such as Teokbokki or seasoned bar rice cake, buckwheat noodles, gulfweed soup, hairtail fish soup and so much more.

If you’re looking for more variety, head over to Seogwipo-si, a traditional market in Jungjeong-ro Street with a long stretch of shopping options. This Jeju shopping market has been around since 1960’s and has been designed to make navigating around so much easier. One of its popular shops is the Dongmyeon department store with an expansive collection of brands selling products at a cheaper price.

Located right in the heart of Jeju Town is Tap-dong, one of the Jeju shopping areas where you can dine, drink and shop! It’s a night market which exclusively sells local handicrafts from the island. It’s a great hangout place if you’re travelling with friends and family. And because it is in the city centre, near Jeju Port, it is very accessible and you can get here in no time.
