5 Best Things to Do In Phuket (Besides The Beach)
If there’s a tropical paradise island in Thailand that you would come back twice or thrice a year, it would most probably be Phuket. Most of the visits here due to their sparkling beaches, but what other unique attractions lie hidden in this gem island? Let us find out the 5 best things to do in Phuket besides the beach.
1. Baan Teelanka – The Upside Down House of Phuket
For starters, let’s twist your brain a little, not much, but 180 degrees. Located in the Phuket Town’s fringe, there lies the 3-storey Upside Down House of Phuket, Baan Teelanka. This 13-meter high upside-down house is one of the top 5 “must-see” locations in Phuket.
Visitor can start walking into the house through the roof and climb up through the attics. The deco of the room is resourceful and detailed, only that it is all upside down. You will pass by three bedrooms, living room, bathroom, kitchen, garage and a storeroom.
You will be amazed that even the fish swim upside down in the two aquariums too! Once you reach the 3rd floor, you can have a view on the other two attractions nearby, A-Maze-in-Phuket (Garden Maze) and Chamber of Secret. (Escape room game)
