Northern Vietnam’s pho is slightly different from that in South Vietnam. Phở Dậu’s recipe leans towards northern Vietnam. Since its opening in 1958, the pho here stood by their recipe. Neither coriander, black soy sauce, nor beef balls are in their recipe. However, their recipe is rich in side dishes, vinegar and onion.

6. Phở Lệ

Food in Ho Chi Minh City-District 3 also has delicious Pho! The environment of this Phở Lệ is clean and hygienic, and the Internet has been praised constantly, so it is full of people from morning to night. For those who like the southern taste of Pho, this place is definitely your paradise.

Currently, Phở Lệ has two branches. One is located at 303 Võ Văn Tần, while the other is at Nguyễn Trãi.

Address: 303 – 305 Võ Văn Tần, P. 5, Quận 3, TP. HC

[Chubsgirl in Vietnam series] – Authentic Phở in Vietnam is always the best. Southern style of pho is always my favorite in which a bowl of pho is normally served with lots of viet herbs, lemon, chili, hoisin sauce, and of course fish sauce. The flavor of this style is different from the northern style where the broth is on a sweeter side but together with all the condiments added creating a perfect balance for every viet’s comfort bowl of noodle soup. – 🍲 📸: Pho with rare steak, beef balls, and oxtail – 📍Phở Phú Vương – #wheninvietnam #vietfood #phở #vietnamesefood #vietnam #vietnamesepho #foodphotography #foodstagram #foodie #foodieadventures #food #foodforlife #vietnamesebreakfast #breakfast #chubs4life #chubseatdrink #chubsgirlgoesvietnam

Phở Chua Lạng Sơn’s pho is different from the usual recipes out there. Their soup base is sour and spicy paired with a special crispy pancake. They do not serve their pho with a lot of soup but their soup is more of a thick broth. You will find it delicious on your second bite.

10. Phở Bò Phú Gia

There are only 8 tables available in Phở Bò Phú Gia restaurant, but the diners are still willing to wait in line just to get a taste of their pho. Their broth is rich in flavour topped with a different slice of beef. Their beef slices are different from what other pho restaurants use. They have more fat in their slices that helps improve the richness and flavour of the soup.

The high-end property also opened a top-floor facility called The Sky Club for rest and recreation. Residents can enjoy their vacation and off days without having to travel somewhere far. The facilities available are: 30-meter infinity swimming pool, children’s pool, Jacuzzi, bar, private restaurant, banquet hall with private kitchen, barbecue bar, gym, and more.

Vietnam Inbound International Flights Suspended

Vietnam suspends International flightsImage Source: ZhaoVN

According to ZING News, the Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam (Vo Huy Cuong) said that international flights to Vietnam will be suspended. They are currently waiting for the Vietnamese Ministry of Health to produce guidelines on the passenger isolation process.

International flights to Vietnam will be suspended, awaiting the latest procedures

The epidemic situation in Vietnam has gradually stabilized. As of 7 October, there have been no cases of local infection in 36 days. Many transportation activities in Vietnam have also returned to normal, including Noi Bai Airport in Hanoi and Tan Son Nhat Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, both of which are allowed to receive passengers from six countries and regions.

However, the Deputy Director of the Aviation Administration (Vo Huy Cuong) said that the plan to isolate foreigners from entering the country is good, but problems arise during the isolation of Vietnamese citizens’ on hotels and its collection of isolation fees. During the flight from Seoul to Ho Chi Minh City on 30 September, passengers expressed dissatisfaction with the hotel’s isolation fee (VND 28 million for 14 days), which caused confusion.

Currently, the Ministry of Health of Vietnam is formulating a nationwide isolation procedure, which is expected to be completed within 3 working days and be submitted to the National Awareness Committee for approval. After that, the international flights to Vietnam can continue.

First Look: Ho Chi Minh City’s Urban Railway Project

Railway Project in Ho Chi MinhImage Source: livinginasia

Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh Metropolitan Metro has been under construction since 2012, and the construction of 9 metro lines is proceeding as planned. The 19.7-kilometer Line 1 is 70% completed, and it is expected that 90% of the project will be completed by the end of this year and will be officially opened to traffic in early 2021.

Ho Chi Minh City Metro Line-1

Line 1 will connect 14 subway stations, via Ben Thanh Market (Central District 1), Grand Theatre, Balun Shipyard, Saigon River Elevated Rail, and then Xianquan Park in District 2 and Yongping District Terminus. Line 1 is currently the only subway line under construction in the city. Although the progress of the project has been delayed, the goal of officially opening to traffic in 2021 is just around the corner.

Ho Chi Minh City Line 2 held a ground-breaking ceremony in 2015, but land acquisition is currently underway and construction is expected to start in 2021.

Ho Chi Minh City Metro Line 3A

Line 3A will be a derivative of Line 1 at Ben Thanh Station. It will be constructed in two phases, the first phase is a bus terminal to Mien Tay; the second phase will extend the line to Tan Kien Ward in the Pyeongchang district in the southwest corner of Ho Chi Minh City. This route is expected to be officially constructed in 2025 and completed in 2030.

The remaining subway station lines are still some days away from construction.
