The Vietnamese government will continue to implement strict testing and isolation measures to everyone entering Vietnam. This is according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam.
Foreign investors, business managers, and high-skilled workers with special circumstances are the only allowed to enter Vietnam since March 22. This is in accordance with the regulations of the Vietnamese government. In addition, those who will enter Vietnam must go through the approval procedures with the government.
Inspection and Quarantine Measures for Entry into Vietnam
1. A 14-day home quarantine will be strictly implemented for all the above-mentioned immigrants. Moreover, it must be carried out in a diplomatic agency or residence and in close cooperation with local governments.
2. Entrants must strictly abide by the Ministry of Health’s requirements for home isolation and personal protective measures. This includes wearing masks frequently, washing hands with soap or disinfectant, daily monitoring of health conditions, restricting leaving the isolation location, and restricting contact with people around.
3. Compulsory testing for the New Coronavirus is also implemented. The first test will be carried out immediately after entering the residence or isolation place. While, the second test will be carried out after 1 to 2 days of isolation.
Lastly, if the test result is found to be positive, the person will be immediately sent to the nearest designated hospital for treatment. In addition, according to the regulations, the epidemic site will be blocked.
